Tsavo East
It is the largest and oldest park situated in a semi-arid grassland and savanna. It has great herds of elephant roaming in the red-dust soil and the 1.6 KM whale-backed Mudada rock. The spectacular man-made dam “Aruba dam”, the Lugard falls, Yatta Plateau and walking along the Galana river is incredibly exciting.
Samburu Game Reserve
Samburu Game Reserve has it all. Did I say Kenya is the bird’s lover’s paradise? Then I will say it again and again. While at Samburu game reserve you will see the marabou stock, lilac-breasted roller, superb starling, bee-eaters mentioning a few. Get a view of the Ewaso Nyiro River that attracts many animals and a home of Nile crocodiles. The game reserve is home for both special five & big five animals.
Tsavo West
Watch the amazing migratory birds at the Mzima Springs, scenic hills and valleys, the beautiful baobab trees and volcanic lava beds.
Mombasa
It is a beautiful Kenyan city with a tropical climate, amazing scenery and attractions including
- Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve; the favourite for snorkelers, divers and people drawn to dramatic colours and creatures of the sea.
- Haller Park Sanctuary; with its beautiful baobab trees, coconut and palm trees and home to crocodiles, giraffes, hippos and buffaloes. Also, home to the story of sally and potty the famous hippo couple, along the nature trail and it is good for a picnic with friends and family.
- Mamba Village; the longest crocodile reptile farm in Kenya. Home to snakes, botanical garden, horseback riding and camel riding.
- The Beautiful Beaches; Mombasa has an amazing shoreline with white sandy beaches from South to North coast readily accessible including Diani beach, Nyali Beach and Watamu Bay.
